NFL Pepsi Punt, Pass, and Kick Competition

LARA hosts its annual NFL Pepsi Punt, Pass, and Kick competition

Young football fans and athletes will again have the opportunity to exhibit their football skills when the Lakes Area Recreation Association hosts its annual NFL Pepsi Punt, Pass, and Kick competition.  The competition is FREE and open to all boys and girls ages 8 - 15 as of Dec. 31, 2003.   It will be held on Saturday, Sept. 27th from 2 pm - 4 pm at Ki Chi Saga County Park on Glader Blvd. in Lindstrom.  For competition information call Rick Duncan at 462-8873 or email lakesarearec@frontiernet.net.  Entry forms will also be available on the courtesy counter at Brinks Market.

The NFL Pepsi Punt, Pass & Kick football competition allows youngsters to showcase their talents in punting, passing, and kicking with scores based on distance and accuracy.  The top finishers from each of eight age groups at the Local Competition will advance to a Sectional competition. The winners at the Sectional competition will have their scores compared with other Sectional champions; the top five scorers from the pool of Sectional champions advance to the Minnesota Viking Team Championship, to be held at the  Minnesota Viking/ Kansas City Chiefs game at the Metrodome on Dec. 20th.
