Does SE contain the assembly functions of PRO?

Yes!!!  100% of the functions of PRO is included in the SE package.

Are the Bend-Tech products hard to use?

No,  we have worked very hard to make the Bend-Tech products easy to use.  In most cases 30 minutes will give you a good grasp of the software and an additional couple hours for the assembly design.  A very large percentage of our customers have never used a CAD system before and we work very hard to make sure everyone feels comfortable and confident with our products.

Does Bend-Tech work with millimeters?

Yes.  All of the Bend-Tech products work with millimeters and inches.  SE is the only product in the line that will allow you to convert between units of measure.

What are the cost for upgrades?

There are 2 different types of upgrades.

1) upgrade to a different product, i.e.... upgrading from PRO to SE.  This cost is the difference in list price plus a nominal shipping charge.

2) new product release, i.e... release 3 to release 4.  Releases take place about every 18 months.  Typically the upgrade cost of the release is about 30% of the list price of the product.  Several sub releases may take place during a release.  These releases are free of charge if downloaded.

Does Bend-Tech run on a MAC computer?

It does not native, however, it runs great with Windows parallels or emulators on the MAC.

Does Bend-Tech work with square or other shaped tube?

Yes. Bend-Tech graphically shows the tube as round, however, the calibration calculations and formulas will work for any shaped material including sheet and plate.

Will Bend-Tech work for my bender?

Yes.  No matter the style bender you have, including manual to fully CNC, Bend-Tech will be able to handle everything you need.  With over 4000 customers we have seen just about every bender type ever made.

Can I download Bend-Tech to start using it? 

Yes.   Just let us know at time of order that you desire to download the software.  For customers in the U.S. we will still send out a CD and a manual.  For customers outside of the U.S. it is assumed that you desire a download and as soon as we your order we will email a link for the download process to start.

Do I need a CAD system to to use Bend-Tech?

No.  Bend-Tech is a standalone program.
