Cad Import/Export Module

Bend-Tech SE is required for this module.  The Cad Import/Export Module allows for dxf and dwg 3d files to be imported and will export files via dxf.   

NEW:  STEP files can now be imported into Bend-Tech SE with the Import/Export Module!!!

Export:  Both parts and assemblies are available for export.  Export files are available in the dxf format.

Import:  This module can use both dxf and dwg files.  We are looking for the centerline wire frame of the part.  Bends maybe represented with or without arcs.

Here are the simple steps to importing a dxf or dwg file:

1. Select the file from your computer or network

2. Select the end to start from

3. AutoTrack the part or select each feature in sequence

4. Select the "Send to XYZ" or "Send to Custom 3D" command buttons

5. Select your material and tooling

Now this module includes a Microsoft Excel spread sheet export utility.
